After finishing school, Claire studied Electronic Media at Redditch College before joining Dudley Hospital Radio where she spent a few years learning the ropes.
It wasn’t long before she bagged herself some work experience at a commercial radio station in Birmingham where she worked up the ranks from making the tea for the Breakfast Crew to becoming a Broadcast Assistant. This all led Claire to her natural home at 96.4 BRMB!
She still lives at home in Hagley with her parents and believes everyone should stay at home as long as possible. Well, it is cheap rent and the food’s great!
In her spare time Claire loves eating out (but hates the gym) and is a bit of a movie buff too. She studied film as part of her college course - so don’t ever end up next to her in the cinema because as she admits; ‘I’m one of those annoying people who always point out the continuity errors!’
Claire puts her love of all things 'Showbiz' to use every Friday, when she writes a gossip column for the Birmingham Evening Mail.
Claire’s a terrible backseat driver and one of her ambitions is to become a rally car driver for the day, just so she can prove to all those men that women are NOT bad drivers!
