Events/Charities support or coverage
The station stages several events and charity initiatives through the year. We have supported the Haiti appeal with some on-air appeals and this year, we re-launched the Walkathon, raising funds to build a home for the brave in Birmingham. Around £400,000 was pledged on the day and the funds raised are still coming in towards that target.
