Millenium Point Concert
Do we know how to get Brum in the festive mood...
On Saturday November 10th, a whopping 45,000 people crammed into Millenium Point for the Retail Birmingham Christmas Lights Switch On 2007.
Elliott & Caroline hosted the free concert, which saw Sugababes, Leona Lewis, Scouting For Girls, McFly, Booty Luv and Brummy Aaron Yorke all take to the stage and perform live.
At 7.30pm best selling girl group Sugababes pushed the button and turned on the Christmas Lights, which was followed by a sparkling firework display.

(15/11/2007 09:41:42) Went as a family thought it was brilliant, sugarbabes were fantastic, & the fireworks etc brought tears to my eyes - it was lovely & hope to go again next year! <br />I will say one problem was everyone leaving at the same time could have done with more controlling of the crowd as alot of young children been pushed about!! |

(14/11/2007 21:54:31) Had a really good time! All the acts were amazing, especially Mcfly and SFG. Even if SFG were stupidly late on! Was rougher than I expected, but that landed me a second row spot so im not complaining. Great day! |
